Welcome to the website of our dental practice in Vancouver BC .My name is Shivani Vora née Chaturvedi and I am one of the dentists practicing at this location. I have 16 years of  experience  in the field of  dentistry. I was born in  Bombay, India  and  am  the  youngest  of three children. My parents are retired Professors from Graduate Programmes in Colleges affiliated to Bombay University, India.

After high school I went on to pursue a career in dentistry and graduated from Nair Hospital and Dental College, Bombay in 1991. During this time I was intrigued by the charismatic changes that Orthodontics brought to peoples faces and lives and so I went on to pursue Masters in Orthodontics (MDS) in 1993. After this I was involved in teaching at Nair Hospital and Dental College and maintained a private practice until 1998.During this time I published my dissertation in the Journal of Indian Orthodontics. I was also involved in helping my students prepare their presentations at various conferences.

In 1998 I met a wonderful man who became my life partner and a great colleague Dr. Kashyap.Vora. I moved to London, U.K as he was based there then. With his guidance I pursued training in Oral surgery at Whipps Cross Hospital, London ,U.K.

We emigrated to Toronto, Canada in 2000 and I attended University of Toronto in 2001 and received Canadian license to practice Dentistry in 2003.Until July 2006 I was involved in private practice of Dentistry in Toronto with special interests in Orthodontics.

In August 2006 we came to the beautiful city of Vancouver, British Columbia and started the family practice FRASER FAMILY DENTAL CLININC in October 2006.It has been a very gratifying and wonderful experience with our patients who are our family now.

I am a member of International Association of Orthodontics, Canadian Dental Association , British Columbia Dental Association ,Vancouver District Dental Society and Life member of Indian Orthodontic Society. I regularly attend continuing education courses including courses pertaining to Orthodontics to keep myself abreast with the latest in dentistry. I am a Certified Invisalign Provider and have attended the study clubs for Orthodontics for General Dentists. I have also completed the Addvance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course from Sunnybrook and Womens Hospital,Toronto,Canada.

I have two kids Om and Ved and apart from doing their homework I enjoy playing soccer, pranks and swimming with them.
